The importance of a healthy weight

Why is it important to be within a healthy weight range?

It’s crucial for wellbeing to be a healthy weight. Then to be able to maintain that weight, that can be the hardest part. Keeping it within the healthy weight chart boundaries. We then age better with less likelihood of chronic illness, we look better and we feel better if our weight is healthy.

Some of us do suit a bit of weight. But I’m not talking about how a person looks, my concern is about how it has an impact on your longevity and overall wellbeing. Having more weight on our bodies can raise our cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure. It can make us prone to chronic disease and can make us look much older than our years. As we age, it’s harder to lose and maintain weight. But it can be done. It takes consistency and patience.

We don’t have to count calories or starve ourselves to achieve this.
